Temporary suspension of some UK visa services in China

UK Visas and Immigration in Shanghai will undergo an office move between Friday 12 – Monday 15 December which will impact upon some of the UK visa services in China across various visa application centres.

During this time there will be a temporary suspension of the following services at the following centres:

3-5 day Priority Visa service: unavailable from Wednesday 10 to Friday 12 December at the Hangzhou, Nanjing and Shanghai visa application centres. Service will resume Monday 15 December.
Super Priority 24 hour Visa service: unavailable on Friday 12 and Monday 15 December at the Shanghai visa application centre. Service will resume Tuesday 16 December.

The visa application centres in Hangzhou, Nanjing and Shanghai will operate the standard service as normal during this time.

Please note that you can apply for a UK visa up to three months before your intended travel date. If you require a UK visa and have travel plans during December, we advise that you contact us with a view to making your application as soon as possible.
