SSW Coffee Club grand total revealed
As we reach the end of July and another month of remote working, Smith Stone Walters is delighted to announce that our latest at-home fundraising scheme has raised a grand total of £1,302 for our chosen charity, The Rainbow Trust.
In the final week of July, we have raised a further £200 in donations, bringing our July total up to £718. Combined with our June total of £584, we are delighted to present our £1,302 donation to this fantastic charity that has been working incredibly hard in the community throughout lockdown.
Running for two months in June and July, the SSW Coffee Club was created as a way to raise much needed funds for the Rainbow Trust whilst keeping our staff safe at home.
Staff were invited to make a pledge and donate their usual weekly ‘coffee fund’ to the Rainbow Trust. Whatever staff could afford to give, Smith Stone Walters matched each donation.
Once again, we would like to thank all of our staff who got involved and pledged donations.
What’s next?
We may have had all the coffee we can drink for now, but we are committed to continuing our fundraising efforts to support this very worthy cause.

About the Rainbow Trust
Smith Stone Walters is proud to support the Rainbow Trust, a children’s charity that provides vital support for families with seriously ill children. Despite lockdown, the Rainbow Trust has continued working hard in the community delivering its essential support services.
Unfortunately, due to the current lockdown restrictions, many charities like the Rainbow Trust have been impacted by the lack of fundraising events and activities that would normally generate much needed income to help fund their services.
Our fundraising efforts have always been directed from within, by our staff. That’s why, whilst we all continue to work from home, SSW is looking for new ways we can join forces remotely to raise much needed funds for a cause we all believe strongly in.
