The Intra-Company Transfer Route: Webinar
The Intra-Company Transfer (ICT) visa is a temporary immigration route which enables multi-national companies to transfer their overseas employees to a UK subsidiary or connected branch of the business for temporary assignments.
The new Points-Based Immigration System has introduced several positive changes to this route, which offer greater flexibility for employers and their assignees coming to the UK for short term work or training.
If you’re being transferred by your employer to a role in the UK, the Intra-Company Transfer (ICT) visa could be the route to take. You’ll need to have worked for your employer overseas for more than 12 months, unless they’re going to pay you £73,900 a year or more to work in the UK.
This visa has replaced the Tier 2 (Intra-company Transfer) Long-term Staff visa and, as a consequence, some key modifications have been made to the revised scheme.
With this in mind, Smith Stone Walters has produced a new webinar on the new elements of the Intra-Company Transfer (ICT) route. Join SSW Senior Account Manager Alastair Mason as he explains the key changes that have been made to this scheme which will be of interest to those skilled workers being relocated to the UK during 2021.
