Email updates for UK settlement applicants
As part of its customer update initiative, UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) will be extending its email service to some Permanent Migration customers.
From 23 March, those applying for UK settlement will receive monthly status updates about their application by email. These updates will inform customers on how their case is progressing and will be sent only to specified addresses from validated application forms.
This email update service may be extended further to include European and Nationality applicants following internal reviews of the initiative roll-out and will not affect any current forms of postal communication.
