Travel to Saudi for tourism or business with an eVisa
Saudi Arabia’s eVisa is a short-stay tourist or visit visa that allows eligible passport holders from over 60 countries worldwide to apply for permission to enter the Kingdom through a fast and easy to use online platform.
Who needs a visa?
Citizens of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) can travel to Saudi Arabia without a visa. Nationals from other countries may require an eVisa or another type of visa to enter Saudi Arabia.
Eligibility
To apply for a Saudi Arabia eVisa, you must:
- Hold a valid passport from a permitted country, with at least 6 months validity remaining from the date of entry.
How to apply
The application process for a Saudi Arabia eVisa is carried out entirely online, meaning there is no need to visit an Embassy or Consulate.
The eVisa application process consists of three simple steps:
- Complete the online application form, providing your personal information and travel details.
- Pay the applicable visa fee.
- If your application is approved, you will receive your eVisa by email and can travel to Saudi Arabia.
How much it costs
The Saudi Arabia eVisa fee varies based on your nationality but is typically between 90 – 130 USD. The application fee will be set out on the website at the time of payment during the eVisa application process. Fees may be amended from time to time at the sole discretion of the authorities. Applicants that are not successful (for whatever reason) will not be entitled to a refund of any application fees paid.
Processing times
Applying for an eVisa to visit Saudi Arabia is usually a quick and straightforward process. In most cases, applications are processed within 24 – 48 hours from the time of submission. Please note, processing time remains at the discretion of the authorities and may vary.
Permitted activities
An eVisa allows the holder to enter Saudi Arabia for tourism purposes. You can carry out limited business activities such as attending meetings or conferences, but you cannot work.
How long you can stay
The eVisa is a one-year, multiple entry visa, allowing tourists to spend up to a total of 90 days in Saudi Arabia.
