Update on UK Visa Application Centres in APAC region

Due to local COVID-19 restrictions, priority services at UK Visa Application Centres (VACs) in the Asia Pacific region have been suspended for some time. This has led to increased waiting times for UK visa applicants in the region, and customers have previously been advised to allow up to 20 working days to process non-settlement applications under the standard route.

However, the latest updates from VFS Global show that centres are beginning to return to normal service and most VACs in the region are now offering priority services again.

With this in mind, the team at SSW’s Hong Kong office would like to share the following updates on current service availability at UK Visa Application Centres in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region.

The below table sets out the Visa Application Centres that are currently open in each country, plus the availability of priority services.

The above information is accurate at the time of publication. However, opening times and service availability is subject to change at short notice. VACs in the above listed countries are run by VFS Global, a commercial partner engaged by the UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) to provide UK visa services abroad.

For the most up to date information and opening hours for your chosen centre, please check the VFS Global website, or speak to a SSW representative.
