Super Priority
Visa Service comes
to New York!

As of Monday 9 March, this 24-hour visa service will be available to those applying for a UK visa via the British Consulate General in New York.

The Super Priority Visa Service allows customers to receive their UK visa 24 hours after submitting a successful application. Already available to customers applying from India and China, the Super Priority Visa Service has come to the USA as part of a Home Office plan to extend the service to further global markets over the course of 2015.

The service comes at a cost of £600 or $936 and appointments must be made at the British Consulate General (BCG) in New York. The BCG will be open for appointments on Monday to Thursday from 8.30am to 9.30am each day.

Those eligible to use this service are:

  • Tourists and short stay visitors
  • Points Based System Tier 2 applicants with authority to live in the USA
  • Points Based System Tier 5 applicants with authority to live in the USA or Temporary Worker (Creative and Sporting) applicants if currently in the USA for a similar purpose to the activity proposed to be undertaken in the UK
  • Tier 4 student visa holders who are resident in the USA and are subject to different documentary requirements under Tier 4 of the Points Based System
