Need information on your Tier 1 or sponsor licence application?

The Home Office Business Helpdesk has been open to users since January 2013 and is designed to aid UK businesses and Tier 1 (Investors) in need of information concerning current immigration applications.

The Business Helpdesk covers a range of services, including:

  • Status updates for sponsorship and employee applications made in the UK (allow two working days for a response); and
  • Answers to non-hypothetical, complex queries such as interpreting the guidance or unusual immigration circumstances (allow five working days for a response).

Offering a single point of contact, the Business Helpdesk acts as a base from which your query will be delegated to the relevant team of expertise. All communication between a user and the Helpdesk is in writing, facilitating a better record of contact with the Home Office and easier future reference.
